1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LocalAunty Ltd ("LocalAunty," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the LocalAunty website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use LocalAunty, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with LocalAunty.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.
• Not have been previously banned from the Service for violating these Terms.
• Not be a registered sex offender in any jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time. Accounts found to be operated by users under 18 will be immediately terminated.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not create multiple accounts or accounts for others without permission

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, stalk, threaten, abuse, or defame any person
• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate any person or entity

You retain ownership of content you post ("User Content"). By posting content, you grant LocalAunty a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, display, and distribute that content on and through the Service.

5.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to post content that:

• Infringes any intellectual property rights
• Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornography
• Depicts violence, gore, or promotes self-harm
• Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination
• Violates the privacy of others
• Is spam or commercial in nature

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, refuse, remove, or modify any content at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so to ensure compliance with these Terms.

6. Premium Subscriptions

6.1 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

6.3 Refund Policy

Refunds may be provided at our sole discretion. Generally, no refunds are issued for subscriptions. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact support@localaunty.com.

7. Safety and Interactions

LocalAunty is not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline. We recommend you:

• Never share personal financial information
• Meet in public places for initial meetings
• Inform someone you trust about your plans
• Report suspicious behavior immediately

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for:

• Violations of these Terms or Community Guidelines
• Conduct we deem harmful to other users or LocalAunty
• At our sole discretion for any other reason

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by LocalAunty and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LocalAunty regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
• No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
